Two Practitioners Join Kamara McAndrews & Tina Nevin to offer you innovative approaches to using the 4-D Wheel with Chronic Pelvic Pain.
Dr. Alex Milspaw
Dr. Milspaw is a passionate advocate for bridging the gap between the medical and psychological worlds, particularly in the context of chronic pelvic pain. She has extensive experience working with patients in this field and has dedicated her career to understanding the physiological and psychological aspects of pain. Dr. Milspaw believes in the importance of a multidisciplinary approach and has been actively involved in organizations such as the International Pelvic Pain Society. She is currently the Director of Behavioral Health Services at Pelvic Rehabilitation Medicine, where she has a national platform to teach the 4-D Wheel approach, a powerful tool for understanding and addressing pain. Dr. Milspaw’s approach involves helping patients connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and spiritual well-being. By utilizing the 4-D Wheel, she empowers patients to take control of their healing journey and find relief from chronic pelvic pain.
Sage Wheeler
Sage is a four-dimensional weal practitioner who uses the four-dimensional wheel in her work as a life coach or life doula. Her clients are primarily women, but she also works with a few men who are dealing with chronic pain, trauma, and various life changes. The four-dimensional wheel is a tool that allows clients to acknowledge and explore all aspects of their being, including the body, mind, heart, and soul. Sage believes that the body holds a lot of wisdom and uses the wheel to invite clients to engage with all aspects of themselves and facilitate their healing and growth. She has used the wheel in individual sessions as well as in workshops for college students and as a tool for self-care in a classroom setting. Sage also incorporates objects into her work with the wheel, using them to represent different aspects of her clients’ lives and facilitating their integration and release. Overall, the four-dimensional wheel serves as both a map and a mirror, helping clients explore their present experiences and deepen their self-awareness.
