Her interest in a population constantly living in survival mode motivated her to work with incarcerated people in Redwood City, CA. She soon learned to navigate substance abuse & trauma.

Her exposure to jail populations helped her understand that sexual trauma is often at the source of substance abuse and crimes. Her goal now is to help less privileged people free themselves from sexual trauma. She works at Catherine’s Center’s project in San Mateo County, CA in order to introduce sexuality & the 4 D-Wheel to women living in group homes (after being released from jail).

She is certified as a sex therapist. She believes that reconnecting to our true instinct in our body can help us heal ourselves and feel alive again.
